Virtual Currency & In‑App Purchases Policy

1) Virtual coins/items are virtual only

  • Virtual coins, points, boosts, and similar items (“Virtual Currency/Items”) have no cash value.
  • They are not redeemable or exchangeable for cash, real-world goods/services, or prizes.
  • They are non-transferable and may only be used within FairDinkumDays features as described at the time of use.

2) Optional purchases & pricing transparency

Purchasing coin packs or other in‑app purchases is optional. Prices, inclusions, and any applicable taxes are shown before you confirm the purchase. Unless stated otherwise, prices are displayed in AUD. If your purchase is processed by Apple App Store, Google Play, or another platform, that platform’s billing terms apply.

3) Delivery & account crediting

Virtual Currency/Items are typically delivered immediately after payment confirmation. If delivery is delayed or missing, check your purchase receipt and account balance, then contact us with the order/transaction details. We may need reasonable time to verify and reconcile platform records.

4) Purchase restrictions & authorisation

  • You must be authorised to use the payment method and the relevant app store/account.
  • If you are under 18, you must have parent/guardian permission.
  • You are responsible for maintaining device/account security and using platform controls (e.g., password prompts, family controls) to prevent unauthorised purchases.

5) Refunds, cancellations & Australian Consumer Law

In‑app purchases are generally final once delivered, especially where Virtual Currency/Items are consumed or used. If your purchase is made via an app store, refund requests are handled under that store’s policies and processes. Nothing in this policy limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law, including guarantees that digital products/services will be provided with due care and skill and be fit for purpose. If you believe there is a problem covered by the ACL (e.g., the item was not delivered), contact us.

6) Chargebacks & suspected fraud

If a chargeback/reversal is filed, we may investigate and may suspend or restrict the account, remove Virtual Currency/Items associated with the disputed transaction, or take other steps to protect the service and users. We may request information to verify authorised use.

7) Promotions, bonuses & expiries

  • Bonus coins and promotional rewards are virtual only and have no cash value.
  • Promotions may have separate terms (eligibility, limits, end dates, and usage rules) and may be changed or withdrawn where permitted by law.
  • Some Virtual Currency/Items may expire or be removed if required for technical, legal, or security reasons; where practicable we will provide notice in-app.
